Hello
A Bit About Me
I am a Certified Research Administrator with nine years of experience in central research administration at Texas State University. My work is grounded in pre-award sponsored projects, but my particular strength is turning complex requirements, policies, systems, and processes into practical guidance that people can actually use.
I develop and deliver training for research administrators and faculty, create job aids and reference resources, support staff onboarding and mentoring, and build tools and workflows that improve consistency and make complicated work easier to navigate. I am especially interested in learning and engagement, knowledge management, and the intersection between strong research administration and effective professional development.
My approach starts with understanding the work itself—how people actually perform it, where they encounter friction, and what information they need at the moment they need it. That understanding helps me create training and resources that are practical, relevant, and grounded in real-world experience.
Outside of research administration, I am a maker, jewelry artist, dog person, and perpetual problem-solver.
